The American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) is the Big Cahuna of bridge in the U.S. It’s site is huge, exhaustive, well organized, and well presented. It is a good place to start for almost anything related to bridge. The menu system is excellent.
Bridge Base Online was a great resource during COVID. It isn’t duplicate, but it’s bridge and it has served us well. Most of its features are free.
Baron Barclay Bridge Supply calls itself the “World’s leading retailer of books & supplies for the game of bridge.” Its main menu lists Books, Software, Duplicate Supplies, Rubber Bridge, Bidding Devices, Playing Cards, Teaching, Tables & Accessories, and Gifts. The “Books” category alone has 18 sub-categories. Barclay really does have just about anything you can think of related to bridge.
The World Bridge Federation is the leading authority on bridge as an international game. Is bridge a sport? The WBF’s mission statement asserts that it is and that one of its purposes is “to be in the Olympic Movement.” However, bridge is not listed by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) an Olympic sport.
